In this episode of the Behind The Wheel Podcast, Scott (Konig Wheels, Marketing Director) is joined by Trevor Jameson! They talk about building cars and being an automotive content creator. Trevor, of MotionAuto TV, has a channel (linked above) where he and his team tackle some crazy builds. Not only is it educational as a car enthusiast, but he really has such a great mix of vehicle segments covered. Trevor builds everything from Sick Street driving Supras to Diesel trucks all the way to full-on drift cars that he himself drives! He and his team built an Mk4 Supra completely from scratch (check out the full build video on his channel: BUILDING A SUPRA IN 10 MINUTES *FOUND IN A FIELD….) and it was so awesome that we brought the car in to be a booth car at SEMA. This was one of the first vehicles in the world to rock the Konig Hypergrams in the Metallic Carbon with Machined Lip finish!

On this episode, we are joined by Chris Steinbacher. Chris is the content creator behind the wildly popular YouTube channel ” B is for Build “. Chris’s journey has documented one man’s love for cars while showing what it takes to do some serious DIY automotive magic from your own home.
The journey has developed a cult-like following and captured some incredibly candid and pivotal milestones that have helped to shape the channel. Things like Chris getting laid off from his original full-time job and making the jump to a full-time content creator.
If you’re a fan of B IS FOR BUILD take an hour out to listen to Chris’s story, being a professional poker player, how is started B is for Build, getting laid off, his favorite builds, how he is off camera, what builds are next and even thoughts on some of his builds such as the GT-R, 240sx, and so much more!

On the latest episode of Speed Academy’s DRIFT CAR BUILD OFF, Peter and Dave hook the 350z up with some Konig Dekagram Wheels as well as other accessories! Make sure to tune in and let us know what you think…
Speed Academy is running Konig Dekagram in 18×9.5 front et 25 and 18×10.5 et 18 rear. The Konig Dekagram is Flow Formed.
Peter Tarach, former editor-in-chief of Modified Magazine and current co-mastermind behind the online and YouTube automotive content source Speed Academy, lends us his time to talk about cars, the automotive industry, magazines, losing his job after the closing of Modified Magazine, car features, being a YouTuber, turning out content and so much more!
Pete was the written voice behind some of the most memorable car features over the past 15 years. In 2014 his time as Editor-In-Chief of Modified Magazine came to a halt as Source Interlink (the then owner of Modified Magazine) made a decision to close the magazine. After leaving modified magazine Pete brought his voice and love of automotive forward by co-starting Speed Academy with Dave Pratte. Tarach’s knowledge and love of the automotive industry and cars, in general, allows an extremely unique perspective. If you have the time, this is a great listen and even offers new Youtubers some extremely vital tips in growing their channel.
