Konig American, a subsidiary of YHI International Limited, its parent (YHI International) and other affiliated companies (collectively referred to herein as “Konig” or “YHI” or “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. We don’t sell, trade, give away, or rent your personal information to any company outside of KONIG. We do our best to limit any information we collect or share about you.   Further details can be found below.

Personal Information

We collect and store information that you provide to us through the Website or on occasion via telephone or fax to a representative that is a member of our company.  We also may occasionally receive information from third parties (such as companies providing commercially available databases).

This information comes primarily through information that you provide during an intended action such as purchasing something on our website, signing up for our email list, applying for sponsorship or contacting us with questions or comments.  For example, some of this information we collect and store would be; name, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number, and questions related to demographical (age, gender, etc), as well as information that may be vehicle or preference related such as opinions about wheels, colors or finishes.  Additionally, you may at times be asked to provide social media account usernames / handles.  To minimize the data, we collect and improve your security, when it comes to payment information such as credit card numbers and expiration dates, we utilize a third-party merchant service provider such as PayPal.

At times we may have promotional events taking place where the website is used to collect entrances or information related to these promotions. When we run a “giveaway”, contest or sweepstakes relating to our Website, it may be accompanied by a set of rules. The rules for each contest / giveaway / sweepstakes will specify how the information gathered from you for entry will be used and what information is considered “required”.  If anything related to your privacy should differ for these specific promotions from this policy than it will be explained in related promotional information. Personal information will be collected only if you voluntarily submit it to us.

Usage Information

Through your use of our Website, we may also gather certain information about your use of our Website (“usage information”). Generally, this information is collected through “traffic data”. We collect and store certain other information automatically whenever you interact with our Website. For example, we may collect your IP address, browser information, the type of device you’re using to access our site. We also collect information regarding customer traffic patterns and site usage. Sharing your personal information

KONIG Partners – Konig on occasion may share your email address and information about your geographic, demographic, and vehicle data to it’s partners to bring you special information such as sales, promotions, or exclusive offerings.  These partners are companies that are under the Konig / YHI family tree, YHI group members or are authorized dealers of Konig / YHI brand(s) or products.

Third-party Service Providers – We may hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, such as marketing, analytics, credit card processing, shipping, stocking orders, providing customer service, and fraud protection. These service providers have access only to such personal information needed to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information. They are restricted from using, selling, distributing, sharing, or altering this data in any way other than to provide the requested services to you on our behalf.

Legal and Safety Disclosures – We may access or disclose information about you, including the content of your communications, in order to: (a) comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of KONIG or our customers, including the enforcement of our agreements or policies governing your use of our Websites and services; or (c) act on a good faith belief that such access or disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of KONIG employees, customers or the public.

Security, sharing, and encryption of the website

You should be thoughtful of any information that you share or make available for the public to see.  This information includes but is not limited to comments, replies, reviews, etc.  Do not post any personal information that you expect to keep private. Our website utilizes an encryption protocol known as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to keep your submitted information secure. Should any unauthorized charges appear on your credit card as a result of a purchase that you have made via the KONIG Style Shop, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. We use reasonable security procedures to protect your information. However, no data transferred over the Internet is guaranteed to be 100% secure. To protect the security of your information during transmission, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input. Most browsers provide a visual indication of when your connection is secure. If ever you should have to set a username or password to interact or complete a transaction on our website please provide a strong, unique password and never share passwords with others.  Finally, make sure to protect the data you input especially if accessing from a public computer or a device that could be shared with others.

Jurisdiction

New York State law governs the interpretation of this Policy and applies to claims for breach of them regardless of conflict of laws principles. Both parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in courts sitting in Nassau County, New York. Both parties waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non conveniens.
