Tom Tharp of Tom’s Turbo Garage took his 2004 Mazda Miata MX5 for a drive in the final segment of his “Project Thunderbolt” series featuring a GM LS3 engine swap. From disassembly, fabrication and installation this Miata is certainly one of a kind! Sitting on Konig Roller wheels, the now 525hp roadster looks as fun as it is to drive.
With some help from Summit Racing and V8Roadsters.com and some months of dedication and hard work, Tom was able to complete his LS3 Miata and take it for a drive.
